SV	Als de vorsten der Filistijnen uittogen, zo geschiedde het, als zij uittogen, dat David kloeker was, dan al de knechten van Saul; zodat zijn naam zeer geacht was.
WLC	וַיֵּצְא֖וּ שָׂרֵ֣י פְלִשְׁתִּ֑ים וַיְהִ֣י ׀ מִדֵּ֣י צֵאתָ֗ם שָׂכַ֤ל דָּוִד֙ מִכֹּל֙ עַבְדֵ֣י שָׁא֔וּל וַיִּיקַ֥ר שְׁמֹ֖ו מְאֹֽד׃ ס
Trans.	wayyēṣə’û śārê fəlišətîm wayəhî\| midê ṣē’ṯām śāḵal dāwiḏ mikōl ‘aḇəḏê šā’ûl wayyîqar šəmwō mə’ōḏ:

AC	ל ויצאו שרי פלשתים ויהי מדי צאתם שכל דוד מכל עבדי שאול וייקר שמו מאד {ס}
ASV	Then the princes of the Philistines went forth: and it came to pass, as often as they went forth, that David behaved himself more wisely than all the servants of Saul; so that his name was much set by.
BE	Then the rulers of the Philistines went out to war: and whenever they went out, David did more wisely than all the other servants of Saul, so that his name became greatly honoured.
Darby	And the princes of the Philistines went forth; and it came to pass, whenever they went forth, that David succeeded better than all the servants of Saul; and his name was much esteemed.
ELB05	Und die Fürsten der Philister zogen aus; und es geschah, so oft sie auszogen, hatte David mehr Gelingen als alle Knechte Sauls, und sein Name wurde sehr geachtet.
LSG	Les princes des Philistins faisaient des excursions; et chaque fois qu'ils sortaient, David avait plus de succès que tous les serviteurs de Saül, et son nom devint très célèbre.
Sch	Und so oft die Fürsten der Philister zu Felde zogen, bewies David mehr Klugheit als alle Knechte Sauls, so daß sein Name hoch geachtet ward.
